Standard Gaming was founded by a group of collectors led by Brett Charville. Brett has been in the collectibles industry professionally his entire life and was previously an executive at Collectors Holdings, the largest collectibles certification company in the world. A dealer professionally in rare coins for fifteen years, Brett is a former board member of the Professional Numismatist Guild, a numismatic industry trade group of which he was the youngest member at the time of his admission. Brett is an avid collector of original comic art and has put his video game collecting on hold so as to not keep all of Standard Gaming’s best games for himself!

StandardGaming.com is designed with simplicity in mind. We’re not an auction house so there’s no waiting around for the next auction or spending hours figuring bids. We’re not a marketplace like eBay, so there’s no blurry photos, misleading listings, and no need to haggle back and forth for days just to buy something at a fair price. Everything on our site is live and ready to ship, no waiting in line and no “first dibs;” If you want it, you add it to your cart and checkout and it’s yours.
By design we list our inventory for sale at our absolute best prices from the start, eliminating the need for a “make an offer” system. Since we won’t take any less than the listed price for the game, we wouldn’t expect you to potentially pay any more than our best price either.
Our goal is to have higher turnover than other video game sellers for a selfish reason: so you keep coming back to our site to buy more games! So if we believe something is worth $750 we simply list it for $750 from the start, rather than listing it at $1000 and forcing you to make an offer.
Also, we don’t play favorites, there’s no special pricing for select customers or secret price list. The price you see is the price everyone else sees.
