Of the four titles re-released by Nintendo under the marketing name "Classic Series" towards the end of the NES' life cycle, Metroid easily takes the cake as getting the best box and cart art update. Arguably more iconic than the original NES Metroid cover, the pose of Samus kneeling in a strike pose would go on to be used in many future iterations of Metroid artwork.
