Effectively perfect by WATA’s standards, a 10 A++ game has no visible imperfections and a perfect shrink wrap seal. It’s difficult to give a precise estimate, but WATA 10 A++ grades are seldom seen and are only designated on a tiny fraction of overall games submitted. Most game titles have yet to have even a single copy awarded a perfect 10 A++ rating by WATA.
Secret of Mana (PS4)
Originally developed by Square and released in 1993 on the Super Nintendo, Secret of Mana was the first title in the Japanese series Seiken Densetsu to be marketed not as a Final Fantasy game, but rather as part of the Mana series. Secret of Mana’s gameplay is special in many regards but most notably its real-time battles and ability for co-op drop-in play set it apart from other RPGs of its era. Rereleased in 2018, Secret of Mana for the PS4 is an artful 3D remaster of this legendary classic that remains faithful to the original gameplay and style.
Sealed copies of Secret of Mana for the Super Nintendo are extremely difficult to come by with likely only a handful of copies left in existence. Thankfully this beautifully rendered PS4 version is much more affordable and offers aesthetics virtually as stunning as the original SNES version. Secret of Mana for the PS4 would fit well into any RPG collection, a PS4 graded game collection, or simply a broader collection of games featuring truly fantastic box art.
